Fuck yeah... picked this tastey plater up for under $5 bucks recently. It is a record I've been looking to replace because my og is pretty beat. I Bought my copy at the record vault on Polk street in S.F.(The best store ever). I recall my friend Zoran and I went to get King Diamonds autograph, because he was doing an instore at the vault. We were both shocked at how down to earth and short the master of satanic metal was. At any rate that day I left the store with a King Diamond demo tape, his autograph on my Steve Caballero deck, and a copy of this overlooked crossover Hardcore classic.
Out Of Order were one of the early of the Chicago bands I'd heard back then along with Life's Sentence, the Effigies, and Articles Of Faith.
When I listen back to this I can hear lots of Negative Approach, early Sick Of It All, and even some Crumbsuckers. Its really an awesome and tough sounding hardcore record. I wish I'd gotten to see these boys live.

  1. I believe Victory Records did a reissue of this maybe 10 or 12 years ago and for some reason, the singer re-recorded the vocals.

  2. The LP vocals are the same. some of the later demo stuff was redone. Saw them a couple of times. Once opening for Killing Joke.

  3. Victory did a sort of discography CD called "Survival of the Fittest". New vocals were only added to a few songs that they had started recording before they broke up but hadn't finished. All the rest of the stuff has the original vocals.

  9. I saw OOO countless times back in the day, great band thanks for posting this. Devon did re record the vocals on a couple of the songs on the Paradise Lost tracks on the Victory reissue, not all of them though.

  14. You got an autograph from the King himself in a local store? Man that had to be quite an experience, to have him right in front of you, and to know that he is still out here has to be awesome.

  15. The singer sounds alot like Dan O´Mahoney on the verses of Anal Aggression. Great band. Got this record off my brother a few years ago but for some reason I just shelved this without listening to it.

  16. The cover of "Out Of Order-Paradise Lost" was done by Guy Aitchison, the famous Tattoo artist. It was his first published work, done at 16 years of age. 30 lpcovets later, he went into tattoing, pioneering the Giger Vertabrae style and special chroming techniques.

Is it simply me or does it look like a few of these responses appear
as if they are coming from brain dead folks? :-P And, if you
