1. death master
2. Metal attack

This is another record that I'm pretty proud to have been part of. I was introduced to Joel/Toxic Holocaust through Yosuke of Nuclear War Now Records. Yosuke had turned me on to the one man band, and put me in contact after I gushed over how the stuff he'd played me just simply reminded me of every great thrash metal record I'd heard in the 80's. Think Destruction, Sodom, Bullet belts, bowls, beers, and partying in the woods. These are the things I thought of when I heard Toxic Holocaust. It took me back two decades, and made me feel really good again. Total shivers up the spine, and very nostalgic for me. After Talking to Joel, and realizing he was a totally awesome dude, who came from the punk scene, we decided to do this 7" together.
Later Joel came to Albany NY to play a Fest for my label. It was truly awesome to see this dude live. I think its great that Joel has had so much success, and gets the support of people to play the music that he loves.

  3. I bought this when it came out, a total ripper for sure. When I was living in FL., I hung out with Joel a few times, solid guy. Oddly enough when I moved to Boston, he had just moved here as well. That guy gets around! I was given a copy of a 7" by his old horror punk band "Grave Mistake". Pretty cool, but not good as this.

  5. NWOBHM isn't my thing but some of its pretty alright but the hardcore punk and metal that you post, so far, has been A++ 100% sick awesome shit, everything until this. you see, T.H. has pretty good music and he's a good guitar player, but it's still hard for me to listen to an artist who's main distributor is hot topic, and someone who seems to be good buddies with the worst band ever municipal waste of sperm

  6. Rob, get over it man. Who a band hangs out with and where their music is sold is a really petty thing to get worked up about.

TH rips, this is some of my favorite shit from them. They have yet to surpass this and "Evil Never Dies" but I thnk the new record is REALLY good too... a little different, but good.

  7. yeah seriously rob... that is kindergarten shit. People are friends with who they are friends with. As far as hot topic shit goes... who really cares? I don't support the place, but how much worse could it compared to the rest of the world?

When this record came out, it was pressed in the amount of a few over a thousand copies, and was distributed by myself, other people I traded with, and Ebullition records.

This is a true fucking rager.

  10. i'll post the 5" I put out sometime soon. Got me thinking of it the other day when I saw them play Reapers Grave opening for Napalm death. I liked what I saw/heard. Sounds like Joel is influenced by Razor and venom these days.

  11. I fucking love your blog,I hit it once and a while and often I find new music that I cream over as it seems we have very similar taste. I also love Toxic Holocaust. I had no idea that you worked with Joel on this record though! That is fucking awesome!

Classic Nate line. I'll have to tell Crackpipe about this one. He still quotes you all the time.
