02.assimulation of souls
03.cerebral hemorage

I bought this one on a whim in Long Island on a record shopping spree I was on with my buddies Artie and Ron.
The band as you could probably guess play a pretty awesome style of doom/death metal. Most the songs are played heavy and slow, with some sudden bursts of speed thrown in here and there. I'd say they are a pure mixture of Incantation and Grief. Semi Obscure shit for sure, these dudes were from Riverside NJ. This is their second demo, they also released a few 7"s, but broke up in around 1996. Cool stuff for sure.

  2. Man this shit is amazing!! i like that they hardly ever come outta the crawl. love the panning delay on the vox in "Assimulation". sounds bad ass with headphones!!

Nate, you should peep the Dutch band Nocturn if your not already familiar. GREAT stuff with elements of death, doom, and thrash too. I would highly recommend both the Estranged Dimensions LP, and Shades Of Insanity 7". from what i can tell, the 7" seems much easier to find these days.

  3. Your blog was recommended to me by a buddy of mine, Nate. I've met you a couple times. I used to play bass in Crucial Unit and Warzone Womyn...

Anyway, I have a Symphony of Grief 7" or split 7". Might be a split with Ungod? Can't remember anymore. I remember it being pretty rad, though.

    Thanks for posting this...

will you take requests? If so I'd love to hear early Dead(German), and maybe some early Grief?

I think I have the first Dead 7"(maybe 1990-91?). Red and black cover if I recall correctly. Funny as hell Porno Gore grind.
