When I first Heard Appendix over 20 years ago I thought they were German, little did I know that these guys were probably the first punk band from Finland that I'd heard. This is the Rock-o Rama version (it was licensed from another label). Appendix are one of the original international hardcore bands that people should know, or at least try to hear. Catchy punk as fuck hardcore that varies in just about every speed.

Really cool. I like your blog allot. I'm mostly into hardcore punk and the early crossover bands. You're posting some material I was looking for a long time. It's not the record, but the mp3's are nice to have too. To me the music is more important then the collectors vallue of some items. Sometimes I discover new (old) bands on your blog. Keep up the good blogging!

Shite, grate record...hanx whatever happened to cool looking skulls on albums(with music to match) anyways...remember a band called DBC (Dead Brain Cells?)>Cholo On LSD
ReplyDeletethanks guys.
ReplyDeleteI recall DBC. I really love the 1st LP, though the second one is a bit to tech metal for me.
skulls on records were a must!

ReplyDeletethis is some good stuff thanks for putting it up!
ReplyDeleteI still dig most of the hardcore/thrash stuff from that era. I can't wait to hear that Mace album again (they used to open punk/hc shows in the Seattle/Tacoma area and were pretty good).
ReplyDeleteThanks for the work you put into the site!
I for one love your hardcore posts. I really love the demos that get added. makes my day. Thanks man.
